The Space Our home is One-of-a-Kind designed by architect James S. Jones in 1979. All the exposed wood juxtaposed with clean white walls is refreshing and spacious. We are a licensed BnB in Canmore, Alberta

  • The downstairs master bedroom has plenty of windows, but remains a bit dark. It is large in size, has a queen size bed, closet, pull out single bed-couch and little table and 2 chairs. There is no cable or TV, but we do provide wireless internet. The house is cold. The heat is on, but it is still cold.
  • Guest Access -Master bedroom -Master bathroom -Sauna -Living Room -Kitchen -Parking in Driveway -Decks and yard (upstairs is our own personal space)
  • Interaction with Guests -hosts will be available to: - give directions - suggestions to hikes, skiing and outdoor activities - hosts will provide coffee and tea between 7:00 and 8:00am - be here to make new friends - possibly share bikes
  • The Neighborhood A sporty gorgeous and happy town. We live on a central trail system behind the house and a busy road out front. There is a lot going on right out side our door.
  • Getting Around -right down town, central location -only blocks from the Bus around and between Canmore and Banff -5 minute walk to Main St -situated on green space trail system
  • Other Things to Note -Use caution with the Sauna. Make sure it is off after each use. -Use the Mud Room for your skis and snow boards, boots and coats, ecetetera….
  • -Use the slippers and house robe in the closet, If you forgot anything help yourself from the upper cupboards in the bathroom. There are towels in the cupboards as well as empty dwares in your room and bathroom for your things. It can get cold here in a hurry. If you came unprepared for the cold or wet weather, we can provide you with warm clothing. There is a variety of winter cloths in your closet to choose from, please return when finished. -Use front door at any time. We will not lock the door while you are here. or…..enter and exit through back studio. enter at own risk- wet oil paint . Please make sure gates are closed at all times to prevent Shield (our dog) from escaping
  • -Shield our dog. She is one year old. She can get very excited. Please do not encourage rough housing, tug of war or ball in the house. She is not aloud to jump up or bite. Ignore her when you enter, unless she is jumping up. Make her sit before you pet her.
  • -Our boys are young and rambunctious. Their bedroom is above yours. You will most likely hear them in the morning. We are trying to work on being emotionally fit and polite. Please bear with us. On weekdays we are out of the house by 8:10 to school.
  • -Be Bear Aware. Always travel with bear spray while in the outdoors. Do not approach wild life. If you see a bear slowly walk away. Never feed wild life such as goat, sheep, elk, moose, bear, birds….. If you see a cougar maintain eye contact and slowly back away until you are in a safe place. We have bear spray to lend, please return it to its place by the front door.
  • -Please be conscience of turning off front outdoor lights when you get home.
  • -We look forward to getting to know you. If you need anything always feel free to ask.
